By Tomasz Wierzbicki · Date: 21 October 2026 · Player: Kiran Vasudev, Harbour City Gulls, top-order batter and captain

What changed
Over the winter Vasudev stopped trying to clear the ring in the powerplay. Last season 41% of his dismissals came in the first six overs; this season it is 10%. He now faces an average of 14 balls before his first boundary, up from 6, and his strike rate after 20 balls has risen from 131 to 162. Batting coach Helena Strand calls it “buying the right to swing”.

In their words
“I used to think a captain had to show intent from ball one. Now I think a captain has to still be there at the 15th over.”

Questions
- Where do the stats come from?
- Bind the tiles to a player stats feed in Workspace Data sources; type /refresh for the latest numbers; they arrive as suggestions
- Can AI draft the profile?
- Type / and pick Draft from data; it writes from the feed only and files one suggestion
- How long should it be?
- 500 to 800 words with one table; a profile is a story, not a stats dump
- Do I need quotes?
- One from the player or a coach makes it a profile rather than a list
